Domaine Jean-Pierre Bailly, Pouilly-Fumé, France, 2022

This wine has intense aromas of peach, citrus fruit and white flowers, complemented by an elegant minerality. On the palate, a mineral freshness with a citrus hit which continues onto the long finish.

Domaine Jean-Pierre Bailly owns 17 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc vines, which are situated on the hills among the best vineyards in Pouilly-Fumé. The vines are on average 15 years old. The grapes were machine harvested and 100% destemmed. After pressing, fermentation took place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Post-fermentation, the wine was aged on its fine lees for 3-4 months before bottling.
