This is incredibly elegant and fragrant. A truly modern style of Rioja designed to show off the varietal and terroir. There is a lot of crunchy red fruit and a little spice and herbs on the finish.
his is from 90-year-old vines grown at 600m altitude. This was hand harvested with all grapes being destemmed. This was fermented in stainless steel with regular pump overs. It then spent 9 months in old French oak and 2 months in bottle before release.
