A concentrated and powerful Pinot noir. All grapes are hand-picked and vinified in a traditional manner. Bright cherry, pomegranate and cranberry notes on the nose are underpinned by subtle cinnamon and earthy tones, with a touch of smoke from aging in small French oak barrels.
A top quality Pinot noir sculpted in the cool maritime climate and clay-schist soils on the belly of Babylonstoren in the picturesque Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge.
Generous and full in the mouth, with sleek tannins and lingering red fruit finish. This is a powerful expression of Pinot Noir.
