The most famous of the Sicilian natives. With an intense ruby red color, it has notes of violets, cherries, plums and white pepper on the nose. On the palate it is medium-bodied, with soft tannins and delicate red fruits.
100% Nero d'Avola, hand-picked at the end of August.
Destemming and alcoholic fermentation for 2 weeks at approximately 24°C. Malolactic in stainless steel tanks. Part of the wine is refined for 6 months in oak barrels.
